TUGSS EST
EARLY SURGICAL TRAINEES

TUGSS EARLY SURGICAL TRAINEES  is a vertical of the parent body TUGSS which focuses on the needs and requirements of junior surgical trainees all over the globe. It was conceptualised in mid-2021 and has been operational since September 2021. We focussed on delivering monthly teaching sessions, with the initial emphasis on MRCS-focused teaching.

OUR AIM

To create a supportive learning environment for aspiring surgeons around the world

VISION STATEMENT

To be a unique international platform where aspiring surgeons can form lasting working relationships across countries

We plan to achieve this by organising monthly lectures, tailored to the need of junior surgeons across the globe, spanning all the surgical subspecialties.  Our flagship mentorship scheme, where we shall strive to pair mentors with mentees, aims to bridge the needs of the trainees.  We also plan to collaborate with various other TUGSS Committees and other organizations to effectively achieve our goal.
